Pet Portraits in Pen and Ink
Stephanie Grimes has been drawing dogs since she was a young child. Because of her experience and love of the subject, she is able to capture the spirit and personality of each animal she draws. Stephanie's artwork is reminiscent of the old masters. While most pen and ink artists of today rely on mechanical and disposable pens, Stephanie meticulously hand draws each portrait, using the old traditional dip quill pen or a bamboo reed pen. Every drawing is rendered using India ink on high quality art paper.
