NEW
Wallis paper is quickly becoming a favorite for pastelists around the world. Which is not surprising when you see the results of portraits done on this paper. The sanded surface holds many layers of pastels. Such layering gives the painting added depth and richness that can not be obtained on normal papers. The Museum Grade uses a 100% cotton base paper which is neutral pH, acid free and has an archival rating of 500 years. While using Wallis paper can be expensive on the artist (not only is the paper expensive, but it can easily use up more than 10 times the amount of pastels used on normal papers), the results are well worth the extra cost.
